The folding beehive stand came about by a request from North Devon Beekeeper’s Association requiring a stand that could accommodate nucleus boxes and brood boxes for the manipulation of swarms and swarm control. There was a requirement for a stand that could be stored at the end of the swarm control season, and that required little storage space. The design turned out to be an ideal solution to the need for a compact requirement.
The design has now been updated, with additional features for not only temporary use, but for permanent use also.
Manufactured from quality Redwood with zinc plated steel fixings, this stand will last for years.
